Hazel went to the angels today, Monday January 25th 2010. Her tummy torsioned again, so her operation in 2009 was not successful. The vet also said she probably had cancer. We already knew she had lumps here and there, so we kind of expected it. We decided to let her live her life as long as she was not in pain. Now, all we could do was to let her go. Hazel was an amazing girl. She came to us 8 months old from Holland, and immediately stole our hearts. She brought us beautiful children and lots of joy, she was a mommy's girl and did everything to make us happy. No one could put a smile on my face like she could. Her love to us was as bright as the day, she was intense, active, full of life - just like it should be. It is hard to go on without her, but we try to find joy in all the good memories.
Sleep well our beautiful girl. Thank you for being in our lives, you brought us so much joy. You will never be forgotten but stay forever in our hearts. Love you Hazzelino...Your mom and dad.

May 9th 2001 - November 18th 2008

Heaven has a new star... Our Damien was put to sleep Tuesday November 18th after acute heart failure. It went so incredible fast, and we understood something was wrong when he wasn't happy about eating his food, or go for his walk. We saw that his tummy was filled, and first wondered if it was a tummy-torsion, but the vet's were not in doubt at all when they felt his tummy and the scan confirmed our worst nightmare - the day we had to say goodbye to our beloved boy was here.
We are so incredibly thankful for having had Damien in our lives. He was a saviour in an extremely hard time for me, and he has made every day joyful making us smile and laugh.
He enjoyed the long walks in the woods and in the mountains with his daddy, and lived his life to the fullest. They have made so many great memories together.
We loved having him in our lives. He is, and always will be, the number one dog.
We love you and miss you so much. Forever in our hearts.... your mum and dad.

Our beloved Bella was put to sleep today, monday December 29th 2003, only 1 year old. We made the hard decision to let her go now. She had arthroses in both her knees, and no medication could sooth her pain properly anymore. We did our best in cooperation with the veterinarian, but we also decided early that our girl should not suffer if nothing could be done. She was a wonderful girl. She lived her life in the fast lane and was always a very happy girl. She loved us with all her heart, and we love her and miss her so much. We are happy to have had the previlige to know Bella, she was a fantastic girl. Always in our heart and with our family. Mom and dad. |
